Natcast Launches 2025 NSTC Workforce Awards Program Call for Proposals | Natcast
Natcast has opened applications for the 2025 NSTC Workforce Awards, offering $500,000–$2 million grants to expand semiconductor workforce training and education in the U.S. This initiative aims to rapidly grow the talent pipeline for semiconductor design and production, addressing critical workforce shortages projected for the next decade.
GRANT/FELLOWSHIP: DoD STEM Ambassador Program 2025–2026 | Department of Defense (DoD)
The DoD STEM Ambassador Program supports outstanding K-12 STEM educators by building their leadership skills and expanding their professional networks through public and digital engagement. Ambassadors will share best practices in STEM instruction, participate in and lead professional learning communities, and adapt instructional materials to advance student learning and sensemaking.
Eligibility: K-12 STEM educators who have experience sharing instructional practices in public or professional forums, participating in virtual professional learning communities, and adapting instructional materials to meet student needs.
Awards: $18,000
Deadline to apply: June 27, 2025
GRANT: Regional Alliances and Multistakeholder Partnerships to Stimulate (RAMPS) Cybersecurity Education and Workforce Development | National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
The RAMPS program funds up to sixteen cooperative agreements of up to $200,000 each to support community-based partnerships that develop cybersecurity career pathways and address local workforce needs.
Eligibility: Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations, K-12 schools and districts, institutions of higher education, state/local/tribal government agencies, and other non-federal entities. Applications must demonstrate partnerships with at least one employer and one education/training provider.
Awards: Up to 16 awards; each award is up to $200,000 through a cooperative agreement. A 50% non-federal match (including in-kind) is required.

GRANT: Indigenous Tomorrows Fund (ITF) | Native Americans in Philanthropy (NAP), Newman’s Own Foundation, Novo Nordisk
The Indigenous Tomorrows Fund supports Indigenous youth leadership and community-defined solutions, funding projects that strengthen cultural continuity and sustainable futures. In 2025, ITF will award up to 24 grants of $30,000 each for projects focused on health, well-being, and community wellness—especially those addressing the root causes of inequity and long-term healing.
Eligibility: 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, Tribal governments or Tribal programs, and schools/colleges operated or chartered by a Tribe or the Bureau of Indian Education.
Awards: Up to 24 grants of $30,000 each for a 12-month term.
Deadline to apply: June 13–July 18, 2025.
GRANT/FELLOWSHIP: 2030STEM x BWF Fellowship | 2030STEM and Burroughs Wellcome Fund
The 2030STEM x BWF Fellowship aims to advance the careers of early to mid-career STEM researchers and professionals by providing catalytic resources and support.
Eligibility: Late-stage Ph.D. candidates, or those with a Ph.D. or graduate equivalent (JD/MD), early to mid-career professionals across all STEM sectors (academia, industry, business/finance, government); all STEM disciplines welcome. Applicants must be based in the United States.
Awards: Five inaugural fellowships of $10,000 each for a two-year term. Selected mentors receive $5,000.
